New for winter '19-'20! The 157 Split is the outcome of a long time quest to build a splitboard that perform equally well as our solid boards. The 157 Split is based on the proven 157 Morris Signature Shape. Just like the Morris, the 157 split is the ultimate all-terrain splitboard and delivers unrivaled backcountry performance in any snow condition, not only powder.

The 157 Split is the answer to get access to those remote untracked powder fields, tree runs and steep couloirs. It packs insane float into a short splitboard.

The 157 Split is perfect for playful turns and fast treeruns, while the stiffer tail will give you more than enough hold. Even slashing carves on hard pack groomers will make you smile. It is made to explore. The pointy nose, stiffer swallowtail and tighter sidecut offer the nimble maneuverability of a directional board while the relatively short ski's will make it a pleasure to skin up the mountain.

The 157 Split comes with a tip clip and Phantom Hercules Hooks for unmatched torsional connection between board halves. The newly developed Split core is built around 8 Bamboo tip to tail stringers and a carefully composed mix of Poplar and Paulownia. With 10 bamboo stringers in the core, bamboo sidewalls and a bamboo topsheet we guarantee pop, stability and liveliness, while the Paulownia makes it light enough to climb all day. Combined with PU sidewalls for extra damp and lightning fast P-tex 4000+ electra graphite base we can assure that this boards performs equally well as our solid boards.

In general Powfinder Snowboards can be ridden a bit shorter and wider than you would do normal. Don't be afraid to go for a shorter length. The boards float very well due to their specific shapes and increased surface. Experience has learned us the following:
